• They are the winners of this year's Spelling Bee Contest.

• Today we learned about:

1. The students completed their letter and postcard.
2. The letters and postcards were checked for spelling and grammar.
3. The students went to mail their own letters and postcard. They learned about "local" and "outgoing" boxes.
4. We practiced the "be" verb in present and past tenses (page 511)
