• Today we learned about:

• The students went over the Week 16 New Vocab 1-30.
• The students learned about Elon Musk.
• Elon Musk is considered the next Steve Jobs since he has so much impact in so many industries -- Cars, Solar Energy, & Space Industry.
• Mr. Musk is the founder of 3 big companies: Space X, Solar City, Tesla.
• The students were presented with Classcraft (www.classcraft.com).
• Classcraft is a new, game-based approach to teaching. It’s designed to encourage participation, good behavior, and 21st-century skills like collaboration. Increasing your child’s engagement with their lessons. Everything they learn in class stays the same, but they get to have a little fun each day!
• Today the class was divided into 4 teams and the members were chosen by the 4 team captains (the 4 students with the highest overall grades for 2nd Monthly Exam).
